The tour starts discovering the Silvestri Craters created by the 1892 eruption on the south side of the volcano, then the route continues along a path leading to a ridge that overlooks the Valle del Bove, a huge caldera and scene of the latest spectacular eruption. Last step is to explore a lava cave with torches and helmets to get into the volcano visiting lava tube before to have a typical sicilian lunch all together.

After lunch, you will be accompanied to a free honey tasting in a local family company. From there we will move on to a wine tasting session from the renowned and historic Murgo wine company. The wine tasting will be accompanied by typical Sicilian cheeses and cured meats.
